Sir,

I have been directed by my Committee to forward

the attached list of the beneficiaries of the Hong Kong

War Memorial Fund who are resident in the United Kingdom

and to inquire whether you would arrange with the Home

Office to have each person visited once every six months

and a remort sent to us on their general economic position.

Unless we have data such as this which could be provided

by Social Workers attached to the Home Office, we must

necessarily work in a void. Your assistance in this

matter would, therefore, be very much appreciated.
